Round 2 Game Day Details

We’ve got a huge day ahead on Saturday with 4 games being played at Holland Park in Kensington. With Brens Oval unavailable due to construction this season, we’ll be adopting a nomad life for our home games. We’re delighted to be welcomed to Holland Park by our partners Flemington Juniors Football Club for the first few home games of the year!

HOME – J.J. Holland Park, Kensington

Our first game of the day will be our Women, who will be playing against south side team Elsternwick on Holland Park’s Oval 2 at 9:20AM. After a tough 4 point loss on the weekend, we’ll be looking to rebound in Round 2.

Shortly after the beginning of the Women’s game Flemington Juniors U18s Boys will kick off against Yarraville Seddon on Oval 1 at 9:30AM. Coming off a loss last week the U18s will want to have strong performance against one of their closest neighbours.

Our Men’s Reserves will be facing a very tough opponent in Monash Blues at 11:40 on Oval 1, but coming off a very strong win last week against we’ll be going in with full confidence and will be looking to go 2-0.

In the final game of the day, the Men’s Seniors will kick off at 2:00PM again on Oval 1. Monash Blues are the favourites to win the Premier C so our Senior Men will have to steel themselves for a massive effort to get over the line. With a lot of positives and learnings to take out of last weeks close loss to Preston the Vultures will go out with full confidence that they can take it right up to Monash and send shockwaves through the VAFA.
