100 Members of Brens ……… THE MOB ……. Established 2015
In early 2015, three UHS people had a meeting. Chris Marchio, Shane Cracknell and Tony Boyce wanted to started a long overdue coterie group. It was loosely aimed at past players, officials and supporters. Initially we came up with the name Men Of Brens or The Mob for short. Membership was $100 a season ongoing, capped at 100 members. We hoped to get approx 50 members in our first year. We planned 2 free luncheons at home games for those that could attend. Foundation members received a special cap emblazoned with their MoB number. We were incorporated and started our own ANZ bank account. The money raised was to assist the club in a variety of ways. Thus the MoB was established with surprisingly nearly 90 members.
Since then we have chosen to refer to ourselves as Members of Brens as our membership is open to all. We have had small fluctuations in numbers with the highest being 96 in 2018. We are aiming at getting to 100 so if ever interested, make contact. We have assisted the club in funding bbqs, coaches, junior development at Flemington Junior Football Club, special functions and purchases of a variety of equipment.
Congratulations to the following 71 mobsters who started off in 2015 and are still actively supporting their old club. You should be proud of your commitment.

It should be noted that both Vic Zanin and Graeme Sparra Edwards who were long term members have passed away.
Looking forward we would love to have 100 members. Any prospective members please let me know. There are 2 projects that stand out for the future. The new pavilion [2023] is fantastic but an electronic scoreboard and a lighting [LED] upgrade is needed.
